We here at The Angler's Net are going to be putting a drive together to help those who have sacrificed for us.  Project Healing Waters is having a weekend outing on the Salmon River in NY some time in Sept.  I will get more details when we get them but the jist of it is that we are going to be collecting flies for their outing.  This is a short deadline for us, the flies will need to be delivered by the end of August.  I have asked for suggestions for what flies they need.

If you are willing to contribute, sign up here and I will update more info as I get them.
Thanks in advance for doing the right thing.

Lieutenant, is there a six-foot bat in Gotham City? And if so, is he on the police payroll? And if so, what's he pulling down after taxes?

Shaq,
Let me know what you need for flies.......any particular patterns or our own go to favorites.

Let me know if you need a hand on stream as well.....I am an NY licensed fishing guide...just renewed it last summer.

I contacted Shaq because I knew he and the Anglers Net could (would) help in such a great cause in no less then a big way.
Without a doubt all the folks here are always willing to help others and support all the right things. Flies will be a huge way to help support the event and if you wish to you can contact Fred for more ways to contribute.

Many thanks to everyone but the real person behind all of this and making it happen for these Veterans is Fred Kuepper, a fellow I'm grateful to call my friend.

Thanks again to the Anglers Net and Geoff.

Bigchinook, you have always been a great contributor of folks helping folks
you know me on FFF as Tuna...

P.S.
I sent Shaq some more info which he may be posting soon.
The main focus should be 1 dozen flies of 1 pattern with Salmon as the species target.
What ever pattern you would use to target Salmon is cool. If you are wishing to tie lets please list the pattern to limit any exact duplicates aside from a size or color.

Shaq-  I'd love to be a part of this.  Though I don't do the salmon thing too often, I can tie what ever patterns are needed.  Please let me know

black brown or olive buggers, black or brown stones, I'm going to tie #8 princes, they always seem to work.  Use stout hooks, heavy wire mustads or salmon hooks and they should be fine.  Also could probably use orange glo bugs too.
